We are currently supporting Made in Hackney, a local community based kitchen that works with various different community groups and teaches them how to make delicious plant based meals.
Last week I had the pleasure of being able to take part in the Stroke Survivor group where I got to spend a few hours helping the members make a soba salad (almost lost my fingers whilst grating the ginger), sweet potato wedges and granola.
We met so many beautiful souls on the day and many of the group had completely lost mobility in parts of their bodies. Being able to take part in something so worthwhile that I know our customers are helping us to support made me feel truly humbled.
